Among the respondents surveyed by Millward Brown for commercial broadcaster TVN, 37 percent said they would ''resist, but not by fighting with arms, but by engaging in other, non-military activities.''

Some 19 percent answered that they would take flight and leave the country, and 5 percent said they would submit to the invaders.

Meanwhile, 11 percent said that they could not predict how they would react in the eventuality of an invasion.

The survey was carried out on 16 March, on 1000 adults nationwide. (nh)
